When I switched to VS2008 OpenEXR throws exceptions when trying to use exr files now, some conflict probably with other libraries I'm using and compiler options. It's also too bulky and I'm just using reading and writing for 16 bit HDR textures. So I decided to switch to 16-bit per channel PNG (64 bit pixel). However, I don't know how to convert... ImageMagick doesn't load without OpenEXR and I don't have working OpenEXR binaries (the ones I build don't work, and I didn't find binary downloads for a recent version). IrfanView reads EXR but will only write out 8 bits per channel PNG. So... WTF do I use
