problem with fire web server

I have the source code for fire web server (Dr Dobbs) and i want to know how can i run it on my computer.When i run the code on Visual Studio 2005 there is a message on the console to press Ctrl+C if i want to shut down. How can i make a connection as a client on the same computer? Can you please help me, Thanks in advance Penka

If the server is listening on the standard http port, you would only have to open firefox/internet explorer and connect to http://127.0.0.1

thank you, i tried that, but i still have a problem. maybe it is a stupid one, but when i execute the program and open a browser, nothing happens and than i press Ctrl+C and i get this exception:
First-chance exception at 0x7c87534d in firepr.exe: 0x40010005: Control-C.

I tried to make a connection by opening firefox/internet explorer and connect to http://127.0.0.1 but i get a massage "HTTP error 404, File Not Found"


Please,can somebody help me

That means it connected. There has to be a server you're connecting to for it to send you that error. There's probably no root document for the webserver to serve, or it's in the wrong place.
