DDraw startup code for WM5

Greetings! I want to start up with ddraw on windows mobile 5. Microsoft has not included any sample ( to my knowledge) to give me a kick start with ddraw. only samples given are for d3d. Basically, i want a start up sample/code that does all initial ddraw stuff and leaves me with the Render() function. There is some skiTime sample I found here on gamedev, but its for wm6, and it does'nt load on my Visual Studio 2005 giving me error: "This project consists entirely of configurations that require support for platforms which are not installed on this machine. This project cannot be loaded" Can any one please give me proper direction? Thanks in advance... [edit: ddraw.h is part of DXSDK and ALSO part of windows mobile 5 sdk.
