Hey im a beginner hobbyest artist who is now tired of scanning in hes drawings to work with it in photoshop :p so after reading some random posts here and on other forums ive settled my mind on buying a wacom intuos 3 A5 tablet. now for some reason the UK version of this tablet (PTZ-630G-EN) is alot cheaper in my country than the US version (PTZ630) im guessing thats just becuase its cheaper for us to import it or the exhange rates are better. my Question is: is there maybe something else that makes the US version better? is there thus maybe a reason for me not to buy the cheaper UK version. also is the accesories compatible with each other? for instance if i buy a new pen and it happens to be a US model will it work on my UK tablet? thnx [Edited by - EternityZA on November 14, 2008 3:49:57 AM]

I don't don't think there is any difference between them whatsoever (except just being measured / named differently). Price differences are mostly just due to different distributors.

Doubtful. Wacom, after all, is a Japanese company.

Probably, but your best bet is actually to just call them up and ask them. I've found their customer support to be awesome the two times I've called. The second one was particularly impressive: My Intuos3 pen had lost its rocker switch and I was calling to ask if I could purchase a replacement. They sent me one for free, and paid the postage, too.
