MFC mouse hold and DoEvents

I want object to move while I hold mouse on the button. What is the best way to do it? Another thing. When my MFC program gets in a loop I can not click anything on the dialog form. VB6 had command DoEvents(); to put in a loop so program can respond to window events.. is there something similar in c++? Thanks
