putting 16 bits rgb data on a windows using gdi

Hey, so, i'm always working on the Windows CE port of my canvas library. Right now, I use the framebuffer, gapi and directdraw backends. But for hiw work, a friend uses a specific card that uses windows CE. Thar card has not directdraw nor gapi, and the driver does not implement the escape method to get the informations for the framebuffer. So the only solution that remains is gdi (despite it is slow. We focus on speed, but we also need something that is working...) So, what I have is a pointer on a 16 bits 565 rgb data (it has been created from an image file, for example). So you can consider it as an image of size (w,h) pixels. I want ot put on the windows at position (x,y) pixels. What is the fastest way of doing that, using gdi only ? thank you
