GLint and serialization

I'm working on a little project and have a fairly specific question that shouldn't be too hard to answer. I want to incorporate serialization of a couple of my classes here, primarily ones that consist only of of GLints. I know that different platforms have different sizeof values for floats and ints but was not sure if this also applied to GL API types, such as GLint GLfloat etc. Can somebody tell me how that all works so that I can be more well equipped to serialize in my project?
