hi, i have a problem i just cannot solve. I have a mesh in 3ds max, its a 5x5 plane, means it has 25 vertices. Now that mesh has 64 faces 32 front 32 back. When i save this file as a .x file i get a mesh with 64 triangles (OK) and 50 vertices ( :( :( ). If i open the x file and check it all vertices are doubled there. So is there any way to save this mesh as a mesh with 25 vertices and not 50. I dont know why the panda exporter creates 50 vertices since 25 of them are just copies. Thank you really much for any help ;)

What is the vertex format of the mesh? If the format contains normals (and possibly texture coordinates) then there will indeed be 50 unique vertices as each vertex contains more than just positional data.
