Hello, I've been learning DirectX and C++ in tandem for a little while, and right now I'm taking the next step and attempting to actually go ahead and make a game in essence. I've been looking through various books and sites and for some reason I'm turning up nothing. My question is: How do I assign key-input, or mouse-input to manipulate an object? For example, I'm rendering a box in a window and I'd like to assign W, A, S, and D to move the box forward, left, right, and back in reference to the camera (taking baby steps.) Thanks in advance :)
