3D Line Collision Algorithms

Yeah I am working on a first person shooter I am doing shooting where I calculate the starting and ending point of the bullet then check for collisions with the line that the two points make. So I need to know any algorithms to detect a collision between a line and a 3 or 4 point plane or a sphere or a rectangular prism and at what point the collision is.

err use forumsearch and before of this realize what u need
exactly minDis(Point,Line) ,...... ;)
