Hi all, i would like to know.. how can i collision objects with a map done in 3D studio max? For example, in my "game" i have two ships and i actually can detect if they collide. It's very simple 'cause are only two objects. But how to do it with a exported map ?? It's supposed that a map have lots of polygons, so i can't even imagine doing collision test against all they.. I'm using XNA btw Thanks in advance and sorry my poor english

Usually you'd have a lower resolution version of your map for collision geometry, and you'd usually use some sort of spatial partitioning like an octree to split the map into smaller chunks, then you only need to raytest polygons in the current node.
