Hi, I don't understand this sentence. Could you please explain it to me. What is hardware acceleration? "Opengl delivers fast and complete 3d hardware acceleration".

So that means that Opengl instructions are computed on graphic cards IF a graphic card exists in the computer?

I still don't understand the "fast" part. Do they mean that it is well implemented, so it executes fast?

Usually a dedicated hardware is tens or hundreds of times faster than a software implementation, specially on graphics.

hardware acceleration is 'fast' compared to software acceleration. The 'complete' part depends very much on the quality of the drivers for your specific graphics card.
