Input of 3ds max model

Any of the following: FBX, Crosswalk (dot xsi), Collada, 3DS, ASE, ....

The first 4 have freely available SDK's available to load the data, you'll have to render that data manually, and in the case of the first 3 it's best to write a tool to extract the data you need, and put into your own custom file format.

Alternatively, skip that step completely and use the Ascii export example included with the Max SDK as a starting point to write your own exporter.

Export from MAX as .obj an simply load it as you would any other text file. Export one object and open it in notepad to see the structure... You have vertex, face and texture coordinates field.
