Hi, I'm trying to figure out the logic behind XInputGetCapabilities(). I'm using November 2007 SDK. I have both the the original x360 controller and Guitar Hero III guitar. Are the returned values really supposed to mean something on the PC? I'm getting the following capabilities for these two: Type 0 unsigned char SubType 7 '' unsigned char Flags 4 unsigned short wButtons 62463 unsigned short bLeftTrigger 255 'ÿ' unsigned char bRightTrigger 255 'ÿ' unsigned char sThumbLX -64 short sThumbLY -64 short sThumbRX -64 short sThumbRY -64 short Vibration {wLeftMotorSpeed=255 wRightMotorSpeed=255 } ------------ Type 0 unsigned char SubType 1 '' unsigned char Flags 4 unsigned short wButtons 62463 unsigned short bLeftTrigger 255 'ÿ' unsigned char bRightTrigger 255 'ÿ' unsigned char sThumbLX -64 short sThumbLY -64 short sThumbRX -64 short sThumbRY -64 short Vibration {wLeftMotorSpeed=255 wRightMotorSpeed=255 } For example, how's one to know that the other supports force feedback and the other one does not? And what does subtype 7 mean (a guitar is supposed to be 6)? Thanks, JJ --

Hi,

Isn't anyone else using this on the PC? I assume that it works on the xbox then? This is a bit sad, especially the info about force feedback support would be useful for me.
