I merge the models by using D3DXConcatenateMeshes fucntion. These models use the same xfile. When I merge three models, the D3DXConcatenateMeshes fucntion will return -2005530516(D3DERR_INVALIDCALL). Does somebody ever meet the situation?

What do the Debug Runtimes say the problem is?

Thanks! The error message is "D3DX: D3DXCreateMesh: Too many faces/vertices for a 16bit mesh". I had solved this problem. I forcely add D3DXMESH_32BIT into the Option of D3DXConcatenateMeshes. Your suggest is a great idea that I have known but I do not know how significant it is.

D3DXConcatenateMeshes(ppMeshes,NumMeshes,Options|D3DXMESH_32BIT,pGeomXForms,NULL,elems,m_pD3DDevice,&pMeshOut);
