I am wondering how you paint things like the character-portrait, mini-map, and UI that always stays stationary. As the character moves across the map the coords change and there has to be a better way to keep these things on the same relative screen location without having to re-calculate them 20 times a second. Does anyone have any tips on positioning these things?
