Hello all, I've written a COB file loader which I use to load and render static models. Now I want to move up and add loading skeletal information for animated models. However, reading the specification for the COB file format does not help with understanding how the keyframes of an animated model is stored. I can read and store the Joint and Bone chunks from the file but thats about it. (Am not even sure if the Joint chunk is for animation or physics, the specification does not explain things properly.) My questions are - 1. Has anyone successfully loaded an animated model in a COB file? 2. How can I get the keyframe information (like we do for Milkshape MS3D format)? 3. Am I looking in the wrong file for this information? (Is another file created for animated models in TrueSpace?) Am using TrueSpace 7.6. I'd be very grateful if I can be pointed to some document that explains how to use the skeletal information in a COB file. Thank You

Your best bet would be asking on the official forums, (good luck with that! Try asking what axis points up on that forum, and several of their ignorant customers will asking you what you were smoking when you cooked up this crazy 'axis' thing in your imagination, and the devs will eventually give you 12 different answers) or exporting from trueSpace to a format of your own.

Their SDK for 7.6 was just released.
