So i have created a skybox, and loaded a car model into it. Now i need to animated the car in the skybox. What is the way of going about this? I am trying to look for tutorials simular to this, but they all seem to use controls to animate the model. I need it done automatically. What is this procedure called? Is it to do with creating frames? any advice would be great cheers

You can just animate the transformation matrix you apply to it.
You would keep translate and rotate values at different times and recompute a matrix each frame.
The procedure is called keyframing because you store principle frames which are the keyframes and you compute in between frames.
But this type of keyframing is for the transformation matrix.
The other kind would be to store keyframes with different poses which is more suitable for animating a character or some tree that moves around because of the wind.
