maximize a object in projection matrix

hi, my math is not good, but I can give bounding box and bounding sphere of a object, the view matrix is look at the object center, the problem is I want make a perspective projection matrix that can maximize that object( transform the object maximize fill my view ). perhaps the second method is scale the object to fit my viewing frustum, I also want know how to calculate the scale rate. have any idea?
