[C++] Best Model Format

I'm looking into importing models into my game engine. It's custom built and has it's own Math classes (Matrices, Vectors, etc). What I'm looking for are suggestions on model formats that support the following: - Multi-texturing (and Skinning) - Animated triangle mesh. - Shaders - Bones (Maybe) The MD3 format caught my eye, are there any down sides to using this format? Are there better or more efficient file formats out there then MD3? EDIT: I am also considering rolling my own.
