Hi Evereyone I am trying to create some planets in blender but i cant seem to export the texture/image for xna (.fbx) I created a uv sphere then linked it to an object under shading (F5). Under textures I clicked add new. Then under the texture button (F6) I select texture type "Image" and loaded a square picture of Venus Now under the materials button and map input i select "orco" and "sphe" If I render the image it renders fine. Problem is if i export it to autodesk (fbx) the sphere is exported but not my texture/image Its an easy way to create a planet but it seems difficult to export Thanks in advance

I have no experience with exporting fbx, but all I can suggest is this:

the texture will be a seperate file not packed in the fbx so if you move the exported file to a different folder make sure you move the texture file with it.

hope that helps.
