Im using MAC OS X Leopard 10.5.5 and the latest Xcode 3.1? I did NOT write this code. I just really wanted a .obj loader for my program. I don't understand about 25% of this code. I know that is a bad thing to do. Anyways i downloaded the tutorial from Ultimate Game Programming website. I Expected it to work on the first compile, but i guess i was wrong. Here is a line to the code. http://www.ultimategameprogramming.com/zips/Gl_ObjLoader.sitx (sitx is a compressed file format used for macs. (Its similar to zip and rar)) That is the build error. I was able to get rid of another one before this. Building target “objLoader” of project “objLoader” with configuration “Development” — (1 error) cd /Users/Alex/Desktop/objLoader /Developer/usr/bin/g++-4.0 -arch i386 -L/Users/Alex/Desktop/objLoader/build/Development -F/Users/Alex/Desktop/objLoader/build/Development -filelist /Users/Alex/Desktop/objLoader/build/objLoader.build/Development/objLoader.build/Objects-normal/i386/objLoader.LinkFileList -framework Carbon -lstdc++ -framework AGL -framework OpenGL -prebind -o /Users/Alex/Desktop/objLoader/build/Development/objLoader.app/Contents/MacOS/objLoader Undefined symbols: "Shutdown()", referenced from: _main in objLoader.o ld: symbol(s) not found collect2: ld returned 1 exit status "Shutdown()", referenced from: _main in objLoader.o ld: symbol(s) not found collect2: ld returned 1 exit status Build failed (1 error) Do i need to use a different command besides for Shutdown like GLQuit? The one i got rid of was.
