Another Question about the Blender API and How to Get a Bone Pose?

I have gotten everything to work in my blender exporter other then I still need to export bone structures and I know I need to get the PoseBone object to do this. I don't really understand how it works, I thought I get the pose of the object I'm exporting and then get the BonePose object from that, like this: bone_pose = obj.getPose().bones[bone.name] This gives an error on the bones part so I clearly didn't understand correctly, could someone explain what I need to get the PoseBone object?
