I recently purchased a Sharp LCD HD-TV and tried to hook up my 10-year old DVD player to it, resulting in a grainy black and white image. I then tried my XBox 360 console and it works brilliantly. My concern is, will using the console as a DVD player wear it out faster than video games? Thanks in advance.
