Hi, I have to finish to unwrap a medieval house for a game, containing a huge quantity of beams (in french we call this "maisons à colombages"). Sadly, this is for a current gen game, and... it needs to be able to use lightmaps and normal maps. So... i've got to unwrap separately each beam, and... it takes so much time.... Well, i have about 80 beams totally (boxes). Err... i took a look to games screens after doing this and i saw that they use a global polygonal structure linking the beams. http://www.3dscool.com/3dscoolphpBB/files/house_152.jpg This is for a benchmark, and i need to finish it tomorrow. How could i unwrap it more... quickly please ? And for next time i do such a model, what should note about modeling (i mean, this excludes the fact that i need to link the beams) ? Thanks in advance.
