At work I'm working on an application that uses WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) for its client/server communication. Right now both parts of the app are done in .Net (the server being written in C# and the client in a mix of C# and VB.Net). Something that we haven't tried yet is connecting to the service from an app written in another language, such as Java. Being that WCF is SOAP based, it should be possible to do so. So that brings me to my question: Has anyone here consumed a WCF service from an app that wasn't written in C# or VB.Net? If so, was it difficult?
