DirectX8 Sprite dosn't work

I have tried to get Direct3D8 Sprite to work but it dosn''t happen anything. I just get a black screen and no error message. Please tell me how to use it. If anyone have some source code that they can share with me I would be gratefull. Thanx!

Sounds like a video driver problem. Update your video drivers and make sure you have the Direct X 8.0 runtimes installed on your computer.
