Actor falls through the floor in 3dsmax

Hello, I've followed the ragdoll tutorial in 3dsmax which explains how to let an actor fall down the stairs. In steat of using the scene from tutorials I've just made a box myself. Now my actor falls through the floor... so I've looked back in the tutorial and it said 'put mass to 0.0'. So I checked that, but it was already at 0,0. Then I've checked the collisions and made sure the box had enabled collisions with the actor. But still it falls through the floor. Can someone explain me whats going wrong?
