Tutorial to write a ShaderResourceManager for D3D?

Well i am looking for one:-) I have a real simple one where the use of an engine can create the shader but has to set the shader constants manually which i would like to do dynamically. Well anything that would show something like best practice would help me a lot i think:-) So i was wondering if anyone knows a good book or a tutorial :-) Thx a lot in advance!
