C# Xna Questions

Hi there i am currently doing a game and i have come across abit of a problem. This is a puzzle game and on the play field i wish to make spots that are clickable but are invisible. This would normaly not be a problem however i useing scaling for screen resolution independancy. see For more info I was woundering if XNA had a function like GlLookAt() its an onpenGL function that can determine if an object in 3d space as been slected. An XNA eqvealent would be a perfect solution to my problem however i am open to other ideas. This game is inherintly 2d so a 2d solution would be best if at all posible. Any thoughts are welcome and if i failed to explain something feel free to let me know. Regards Jouei.
