Hi guys, I know you can tell me to google my question but it's so much faster to get the infos from the pros... you guys! Ok, I'm setting up a nice dev env with Eclipse, and I want to go 100% free dev tools. So before I used VTune 8 with Visual Studio 2005. Now I would like to know wich are good FREE profilers? Please this is not a holly war start. Just reply with your personal experiences and I'll do my choice. Thanks in advance! PS: Also how is gcc rated optimization wise compared to MSVC 9 compiler??

Also recommending CodeAnalyst. I think Intel have an equivalent for their processors. Remember, if you're asking for a "very good free profiler", chances are if it's that great, someone would sell it :P
