[.net] Can a C# Front-End recognize a C++ engine's Render Calls?

I'm working on a rendering engine for school at the moment, and I was very interested in creating a C# front end for manipulating things within the engine to test them at run time. I've seen multiple OpenGL wrappers for C#, and many threads describing how to export the functions of the engine into C# so you can use them. However, no one has said whether or not C# will recognize the render calls made inside the c++ back end, assuming OpenGL was initialized in the C# end. Does anyone know if they do, and if not, what would it involve to make this happen? Thanks in advance! Sean

It all boils down to the same thing at a low level, so you won't have any problems if your GUI is built in C# and your renderer is in C++ (as long as your marshalling your data properly)
