Mipmaps and Black Borders

I have a simple map made up of textured quads for the walls/floor/ceiling of each area in the map. I tried switching from linear filtering to using mipmaps for the textures (using gluBuild2DMipmaps. The textures look great now, except that between each textured quad, an ugly black line appears. The black lines weren't there before I switched to mipmaps. I'm wondering if there is a common mistake that would cause this to happen? Thanks!

Thanks, but I actually tried that solution earlier and it didn't seem to have any effect.
