So I recently discovered my driver doesn't support non-square textures. Which is fine, and I know there is an easy work-around. Someone on this forum actually told me there was. So I am in the blue! I just don't know the proper terminology to research this topic. Essentially here's the "problem", I have an image 32 by 32 pixels. I load the whole image to my texture. Buttt - when I wanna texture I only wanna texture say 16 by 24 of those pixels to my quad. What is the term for this? If it's simple and you know the function off-hand please tell :). Thanks for reading! [Edited by - Cakey on January 25, 2009 6:51:34 PM]

See that doesn't help me much... Because yeah that's what I want to do but what is that called?

is that done with :glTexImage2D( GLenum target,
GLint level,
GLint internalformat,
GLsizei width,
GLsizei height,
GLint border,
GLenum format,
GLenum type,
const GLvoid *pixels )
????
