Lightmaps and D3D pipeline

I''m using lightmaps like they are used in the lightmap example, the problem is the lightmaps do not appear when using the D3D pipeline. I tried disabling the pipeline and ran into another interesting problem. When the pipeline is off, my camera ignores the PR_PositionCameraSource and PR_SetActiveCamera combination (ie, i can''t move the camera around). Any suggestions? - -Rich
