Slower in fullscreen

Hey, just a quick problem which I''m sure someone else has figured out. When i run my game in a 1024x768 window I get ~85 FPS but when I stand in the smae place using fullscreen mode I get ~50 FPS. Their must be something simple I''m doing wrong with my fullscreen code or something because that definitely shouldn''t happen

Any ideas? FatalXC

you should download and install the latest video card drivers , it worked for me .

Your framerate is being affected by vsync. Your desktop and fullscreen refresh rates are different causing your fps to act that way. If you change the refresh rate in Window''s Display Properties dialog, you''ll notice that your desktop''s fps will (try to) match your refresh rate Hz value.
