Dev C++ [Linker error] undefined reference to __cpu_features_init'

how do i fix this problem? i only have one mingw installed, i have reinstalled dev C++ and made sure i only ever have one mingw but for some reason every time i compile i get this error

Install Microsoft Visual C++ Express. Dev-C++ is obsolete and broken beyond any hope.

You're unlikely to find anyone around here who's still familiar enough with Dev-C++ to help you, so if you insist on trying to fix it you'll probably want to [url="http://www.google.com/search?q=undefined+reference+to+__cpu_features_init"]Google the error message[/url] and see if you can find solutions elsewhere. You really should get yourself a better development environment though, Dev-C++ is likely to cause you more difficult-to-solve problems over time. Edited by jbadams
