Hey Guys, We're throwing an Indie Game Contest over at 2beegames.com Grand Prize is $10,000 and a publishing deal to console (deal is negotiated after the contest. You keep all rights to your games by entering ) Community favorites win $5000 and $2500. Hurry, the submission deadline is April 15th. What we're really looking for is great indie games who want to get on another platform, needs some help further enhancing the game, etc. We may discuss publishing deals with some developers even without winning. We have listened to a lot of good advice and feedback and have blown the contest wide open. PC games, Flash, and XNA games are accepted. Games do not have to be made specifically for this, previously released games are welcome. Any questions? Shoot me an email - Tony@2beegames.com or PM. We'll be at the Indie Games Summit and Booth #6149 at GDC if anyone is going and wants to hang out or chat. [Edited by - 2BeeGames on March 18, 2009 3:01:52 PM]

Hmm, I'll check it out.

Love the bee's in your banner. [grin]
If I only had the time... I have a great idea for a game but it is something that will most likely be developed in the future. And who knows how long that will be...

So do they have to be full games or would a nice prototype suffice?
Swarmer-
They do not have to be full games.
Demos only need to have 1 full level with all gameplay intact.
(As some developers may not want to let people play some games for free if they're selling them on PC)

We may do other competitions in the future, and our full community website (when launched) will also be open to submit games to.

Okay thanks. By the way, the banner link is broken. The gamedev forum url is appended to the front.
Can you submit iPhone games?

Thanks for the find Swarmer! Seems gamedev attaches itself to the links. Strange.

@ddn3 - sorry Iphone games cannot be submit at this time because we want the majority of users to be able to play and vote on the games. Each game in the competition must be playable on PC (whether it be through a browser or download. XNA games must have an automated install routine including the .net framework and everything).
Can we use the Unity Web Player Plug-in? It is browser based, they just have to install the 3MB player (no browser restart required).

Here an example of it: Off-Road Velociraptor Safari!

Unity engine games are eligible as long as the game will be playable on our site.
