WHY? On Pentium III 600 GeForce 3(fullscreen 800*600*32) I get 300 fps when drawing 150 poly object using ID3DXPMesh interface. I get 130 fps when running "Optimized Mesh" sample from DirectX SDK at same resolution and color depth under non-optimized mode. How come it takes twice as much time for SDK example to render 45,000 triangles compared to my program which renders 150 triangles. Is there a secret ? Juozas
