I''ll be honest with you: most game development employers won''t care about your NVQs. Sad but true. Generally, they will look for someone who is either academically successful (degree, often 2:1 or above) and therefore supposedly able to adapt well, or someone with proven skills (industry experience or a very good portfolio).
Maybe you can work on developing the portfolio while obtaining your NVQ. If you''re not going to university, you need to build up a portfolio to show them what you are capable of.
