I''m recommending "Effective STL: 50 specific ways to improve your use of the standard template library" by Scott Meyers to anybody who uses the STL. It assumes a familiarity with the library, and delves into the things you probably don''t know or common mistakes people make who''ve been using the library for some time. As always, Scott''s got a humorous approach which makes it an interesting read, and it''s just chock-full of good tidbits. I found at least 10 items to correct/improve my use of the library, which makes it worth it''s weight in gold. I found it for ~$33 (~$37 w/ S+H) through Amazon. I think FatBrain & B&N both had it for $40.
