line with 2 pixel thickness

So far I have used Bresenham''s line drawing algorithm, it works well.. however now I have a need for 2 pixel wide lines, Kind of line in GDI: CPen.CreatePen(2, PS_SOLID).. What would be the best way to do this? I was thinking to draw another bresenham line from (X1,Y1-1), to (X2,Y2-1).. But that seems kind of lame... How is this usually done?
