Hi! I have a crash using Pix(single-frame capture, F12) with error message : ACCES_VIOLATION DisableD3DSpy(0) I'm using D3D11SDK March 2009 and the device was created with D3D_FEATURE_LEVEL_10_0 using D3D11CreateDeviceAndSwapChain. Any ideas!!! Windows Vista 64 bits GeForce 8800 GTS Thx

PIX has worked for me with D3D11 provided I'm not using any of the new features (e.g. HS, DS and CS stages). I've not seen the issue you describe.

However, its still in development so unfortunately these sorts of bugs might exist. In which case its probably worth dropping directx@microsoft.com a mail and hopefully they can either fix it in the next release or offer you a workaround...

Hi again.

I already sent a mail to microsoft but I have not yet been answered.

Is there someone else here which had the same problem??

Does this problem is due to how i create the device?

With what parameters or flags did you create the device DX11?

Only problem I had with D3D11 and PIX was that it crashed when creating the device without retrieving the default context, but that was fixed in the March release...
