Hey, This is my first post, and my first real look into openGL using the dglOpenGL headers for Delphi 7 and whilst I feel I have the code correct for use in an openGL "window" I can't seem to get the code to work when the openGL scene is being rendered onto a panel within a form. Regarding the Physics I want to simulate physics on a rope, the rope is represented by a GL_LINE yet all I can get is a horizontal line on a black background, the variables are changing on keypresses but I can't seem to get the scene to update itself accordingly or with any physics at all. Any attempt to update the scene causes a crash. With the picking / selection my understanding is less confident but again I'm 90% certain that the issues with clicking come from the panel as I can click and get coordinates from the form but no interaction at all from the panel. I want to be able to select a sphere from the scene and move it with the mouse but I can't even get a showmessage() of the selected sphere name and I'm struggling to get 3D coordinates from the scene. I can't include my code here without making it a complete mess so if anyone could help a PM would be most appreciated. Lewis
