Hello, I am new to DirectX and I have a small problem. I am writing a little demo which dynamically builds a room and adds furniture such as tables and chairs. I started out using the TV3D engine which has been quite nice. The problem is that my lighting is just not up to par. First of all, I have had trouble generating multiple lights... it seems only 1 light ever works. I have created shadows on my objects in the room but something is still missing. Can someone make any suggestions as to the best way to light this simple scene? Should I possibly be using global lighting, or should I use multiple point lights and space them a certain amount around my room. I've just started learning shaders, so maybe that's a way to go? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
