Hi all. I am developing a fighter plane game using c++/directx 9.i'm up with the 360 degree motion of my plane and enemies. Now i want to create a particle engine to show some firing!....i looked google out for samples, ddownloaded some and have created my own particle engine.... but i am using arrays instead of linked lists as it is easier for first time use. So my engine gives fine values for the position, velocity of each particle when i test it by debugging. But there is some problem in rendering as i cant see any particle on screen. I have set all possible render states required but still no use. If i change the vertex buffer flags...set them to null...i see a static particle on my plane for sometime,3-4 secs and soon it disappears. I think the problem lies with setting up the view matrix. Do point sprites behave as billboards too????.... Plz help me out with setting up view matrix for point sprites.... Thanksssssss
