setting up parameters of cube texture

hey I wanna create a cube texture class and have a noob question; should I set the texture parameters single time after binding the texture as GL_TEXTURE_CUBE_MAP or should I set them for each element such as GL_TEXTURE_CUBE_MAP_POSITIVE_X, etc. with corresponding targets.
