Exporting a .x model for DirectX

Hi, I've created a model in 3ds Max and exported it in the .x format using Pandasofts DirectX Exporter. The problem is it isn't visible in the program, it can't be the program at fault because when I load a sample .x model it's perfectly visible. I'm guessing it must be to do with the exporter so if anyone is familiar with Pandasoft and know the options you have to choose to export I could use your help :). Or if there's another .x exporter for Max you know works for loading in DirectX please tell me :). Thanks for your help.
