Firstly, you're in the wrong place, you need our Help Wanted forum.

Second, you need to follow our required template when you post there. The template will help to ensure you answer most of the questions people commonly ask about such projects before considering joining.

Unfortunately however, we won't be able to allow your project if it's based on Dragon Ball Z unless you have permission from the owners of the copyrights and trademarks involved. If your game is of a similar style but not actually based on DBZ you can go right ahead. Unfortunately for you it's extremely unlikely you'll be given permission to go ahead with such a project, and you may face legal action from the owners of the franchise if you try.

Additionally, other than the design do you intend to actually participate in the project yourself? Very few (if any) people are likely to want to work with you under such conditions, especially since you're offering a tiny share of royalty with no up-front payment.

Good luck. [smile]

I have been designing a fighting DBZ game, for about 2 months, & I am finally finished, I have contacted Sony, Microsoft & business angels, but no reply...

They probably won't reply to you.

since I am a university student, I do not have money...

...I will pay for CRI audio, CRI majik & Xbox development kit...

You don't have money to pay for that stuff. You said so yourself. A dev kit costs upwards of $10,000. Not to mention first party developers don't just give dev-kits to anyone who has the money.

After the game is made I will contact the owners of the franchise for a deal & express to them that this game is quality & will sell.

I highly suggest you contact them NOW, before you waste your time. It's not likely they'll allow this game to be released, at least not without you having to pay what they feel to be a fair licensing fee (big. bucks)

Please note: this game is makeable & I estimate 2 - 6 months development time, I know what is possible & impossible.

Making a quality and polished game (other than simple casual games) doesn't take 2-6 months. It takes 1-2 years (anything longer and you'd better be pretty DAMN sure it will be a commercial hit. Anything shorter will be a rushed pile of crap). If you knew what was possible you wouldn't have made this post.

I highly suggest that you revisit your game design and make it more realistic (i.e. for PC, non-licensed material, longer development period).
