External 'drawScene' to SDL

Hi! I try to send a few glVertex data to my SDL window from the API of maya. The SDL windows are initialized during the 'initialize' function of the plugin. The glVertex data is gathered in another function (called 'compute') of the same class as the initialize function. Since I cannot put all the SDL and OpenGL code into one function due to the API, I try to render glVertexes into an SDL window that has been initialized in a different class function, which obviously doesn't work. So is there a way to send glVertex data to my SDL window that has been intitialized in a different function? I'd appreciate any help, since I'm still a noob in programming Regards, Phong
